Mom loves this place

Mom has been here 6 months now and she does definitely enjoy it. It is clean and the staff are extremely welcoming and nice. I’ve eaten there once (covid restrictions a little still) and the food was very good, she loves her apartment with her own bathroom and being able to sit at lunch w friends she has made and watch the squirrels and birds in the beautiful courtyard. Im glad to have found this location. Also there are amazing doctors and hospitals located within five minutes of the building which make it very easy for appointments that they take her too when im unable to.

Esplanade Gardens was welcoming from the moment you arrived. The grounds and the facility itself were beautiful. The entrance was somewhat grand and I was very impressed with the staff. The dining and common areas were beautifully appointed, too, and the atmosphere was more hotel-like and less clinical. They have an activity center, a beauty salon, a beautiful garden area, a patio for gatherings, and lots of interactive groups coming in. Yesterday, they had an animal group where they brought in interesting animals and gave a presentation with them. Their calendar indicated lots of activities available for each one of the residents daily and we were especially impressed by the amount of social interaction they have, in addition to the outstanding menu/dining options You could tell that the residents were engaged and involved in something in a very positive way.

We toured Esplanade Gardens and decided it was a good fit for us. The facility was extremely clean and we met staff and residents in a tour. The food was excellent and nurses, maintenance, front desk & staff all professional and friendly. Very welcoming atmosphere. Mom will move in soon.

Great care for my mother-in-law

While living home alone my mother-in-law fell and was in need of some living assistance. We struggled looking for the right place within her budget, but then her rehab coordinator recommended Esplanade Gardens. It was absolutely the best choice! The staff is very caring and attentive. They always have a game, activity, or outing on the schedule, and she’s never been happier! My mother-in-law calls this place “Disneyland”! I’m grateful she has a place where I feel confident she is well-cared for.

Esplanade Gardens has a very adequate amount of staff. They allowed us to have our dog and they have done an excellent job in giving my wife’s meds. They have a full-time nurse here during the day, and then on call at other times, and she’s been here for seven or eight years. They have the medications locked up all the time. They have dining hours from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, which quite a few of the other places did not have. So, they are much more flexible, and they are the only ones who actually had a salad bar. I like the way they have the food set up. The breakfast is a la carte, and all freshly made, and you literally can have just about anything you want. For lunch and dinner they have two meals that are set up, and they have one that’s called just a regular meal, and the other one is called healthier choice, which is designed for people that may be having dietary problems, like I am. It helps to stay away from high carbs and high sugar. They have a bingo room, a morning and afternoon exercise walk for both assisted living and memory care, chair exercises, and some type of a prayer service in the mornings. We just had a big Christmas party on Wednesday, which was really nice. They brought in a high school choir to entertain us. They just really have a lot of different activities here. They even had a trip to the mall the other day, and a bus to provide some visits to the doctor.

Caring and courteous staff

I toured different facilities to place my mom and after visiting Esplanade Gardens I knew this was the right place to put her. The staff and care were excellent. My mother enjoyed living there. It was so wonderful my brother-in-law placed his mother there and received the same care for her as well. Recently, in March 2021 my aunt needed more care and did not want to go anywhere else but Esplanade Gardens. She knew how great they were with my mother and is now there and really is enjoying it. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful environment

We visited and enjoyed all areas of the Esplanade Gardens tour. The location is very clean and all staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We ate lunch there and the dining staff were friendly & food was great. Could not ask more for an inviting atmosphere. Residents were friendly and the overall vibe was welcoming. Mom will be moving in soon. We visited other places but they were the best fit. If your looking for assisted living I would highly recommend this location. Taylor made our tour memorable and our decision easy.

The staff is caring and helpful, the facility and grounds are beautiful, her room is lovely, and the food is good, plus she enjoys the many fun activities and loves the social interactions. I have had the opportunity to tour and meet many key people, like the Administrator, the Director of Nursing, and the Lead Marketer, along with other valuable employees. The facility is nestled in the heart of the Northeast and has that feeling of “home”. Many of employees and leadership team have been there for quite a while which shows loyalty and consistency at Esplanade Gardens. At the end of the day, it’s the care of loved ones that matter in a nice place with great care. Esplanade Gardens is definitely a place to consider if you are looking for a place for your loved ones.

I’m a home health nurse. Every time I visit residents here, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The building is clean and smells good. The residents love the food choices, as well as the activities. I would definitely recommend Esplanade Gardens.
